1954

The brothers Heinrich and Walter Schulz are opening an electrical shop on the Goldenstedter Street in Visbek.

1961

Heinrich Schulz takes over the company with six employees as the sole owner.

1964

New corporate headquarters with large in Goldenstedter street in Visbek.

1965

Production of the first ventilation controls for animal house systems.

1970

Change of corporate name to "Schulz Electrical Engineering" and first development of a control system for animal nutrition companies.  

1971

Construction of an extension in Goldenstedter Street.

1977

Establishment of an armature winding system (motor development).

1978

Change of name to "H. "Schulz Elektroanlagen GmbH ", first development of a programmable logic controller (PLC).

1979

25th anniversary.

1981

Construction of a new retail store in Schneider Krugerstreet in Visbek.

1986

Construction of a workshop with office building for the by now 66 employees.

1988

Development of a proprietary process control system with a real-time operating system.

1990

First branch in Saxony Mockrehna (Torgau-Oschatz County).

1994

Construction of a new warehouse, expansion of the office building for 168 employees. 

1995

Development of a fully automated warehouse management system for the food industry.

1997

Development of proprietary control system ProControl; relocation from Mockrehna to Doberschütz in Leipzig with a new building. 

1998

Establishment of the third branch in Podelzig.

2001

Opening of a fourth location in Burg, near Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt

2002

Through previous involvement in the Polish cities of Wroclaw 1996 and in Poznan (Posen) 1998 the first foreign settlement in Europe was created. Change of corporate name to "SCHULZ Systemtechnik GmbH". Participation in Westphalian EnviTec Biogas GmbH.

2004

Ground breaking for the construction of a warehouse as well as extension of the office building at the headquarters in Visbek. Takeover of Wallenhorster emt automation GmbH. The range of services now includes robot- based automation. The company has over 450 employees.

2005

Inauguration of the new premises and celebration of the 50th anniversary of the company. 

2008

Establishment of another branch in Bremen with focus on industrial automation and robotics.

2009

In Swolgen in the Netherlands as well as in Russia's capital Moscow, two additional branches are created.

2010

In Swolgen in the Netherlands as well as in Russia's capital Moscow, two additional branches are created. The Bremen-based company specialises in the construction of mechanical systems. 

2012

Inauguration of a new logistics hall with office buildings at the Visbek location. The company group has 820 employees. 

2012

Also the automotive location in Bremen concentrates its activities in a new building complex.

2014

Establishment of an additional branch office in Hamburg focusing on building installations and network technology.

2015

The Saxon location in Doberschütz celebrates its 25th anniversary. At the same time an extension building is inaugurated here - 1,500 square meters offer new capacity for administration, production and storage. The company group now stands at over 1,000 employees.

2016

The company Peter Suhling Automation, a special machine manufacturer, moves to a new building right next to the automotive centre in Bremen. At the same time, SCHULZ Systemtechnik changes its company name. As a result, the site doubles in size, increasing from 2,400 to over 5,200 square metres. By combining all of its expertise in a single location, SCHULZ offers a complete range of automation solutions and is perfectly equipped for the new 4.0 manufacturing mould industry.

Establishment of a nother service and distribution centre in Hamburg 

emt automation in Wallenhorst, which has been part of the SCHULZ family since 2004, is renamed in SCHULZ Systemtechnik. The sustainable use of existing synergies within the group of companies makes the location an even stronger partner for automation projects.

Change of name in Bremen. The location specialising in special machine construction is now called SCHULZ Systemtechnik SoMa GmbH.
